Reporting to the Site Supervising Early Interventionist, applicants will provide care and supervision to children from toddler age to twelve years of age through the planning and implementation of a program conducive to their emotional, physical, social and intellectual development.
Casual Registered Early Childhood Educators (RECE) are required on a casual basis as staffing and program requirements dicatete, working up to 8.0 hours/day
Wage: $24.44/hour for qualified RECEs and $20.38/hour for unqualified applicants with benefits as per the Employment Standards
Position requirements include:
- Possess an Early Childhood Education Diploma or equivalent.
- Be registered with the College of ECEs if qualified
- Previous experience in a child care setting or related program
- Current First Aid and C.P.R. Certificates or ability to obtain
- Obtain a criminal reference check, vulnerable sector screening check and medical assessment (at the employee’s expense)
- Have and maintain a valid Driver’s License
