Casual Registered Early Childhood Educators
Reporting to the Site Supervising Early Interventionist, applicants will provide care and supervision to children from toddler age to twelve years of age through the planning and implementation of a program conducive to their emotional, physical, social and intellectual development.
Casual Registered Early Childhood Educators (RECE) – up to 8.0 hours/day
Required on a casual/ as needed basis as staffing requirements dictate
Wage: $23.95/hour for Qualified RECEs, $19.98/hour for Unqualified Applicants – benefits as per the Employment Standards Act
- Possess an Early Childhood Education Diploma or equivalent.
- Be registered with the College of ECEs if qualified
- Previous experience in a child care setting or related program
- Current First Aid and C.P.R. Certificates or ability to obtain
- Obtain a criminal reference check, vulnerable sector screening check and medical assessment (at the employee’s expense)
- Have and maintain a valid Driver’s License
